24 June 2026, 14:00 CEST [ongoing] – We are still investigating a problem impacting CATMA. You may experience problems accessing the CATMA application, as well as problems with particular functions or a lack of feedback in the user interface.
If you log out, or are logged out automatically, and are unable to log back in, you can try to delete the site data for (app.)catma.de in your browser settings. The inability to log back in is usually temporary.
(Related notices were posted between 20 April and 18 May, with part of the problem being resolved on 15 May.)

Planned maintenance: 22 October 2026, between 12:00 – 13:00 CEST (?) [completed] – The CATMA application as well as the GitLab backend will be unavailable while we are applying a critical security patch. Apologies for the short notice and thank you for your understanding. The actual downtime should be limited to about 15 minutes.
Planned downtime: 20 October 2026, between 04:45 – 13:00 CEST (?) [completed] – Due to preventative maintenance being performed on the electricity infrastructure in the data center of the Technical University of Darmstadt, where our servers are located, we are expecting extended downtime on this day. Services should be restored by 13:00 CEST at the latest. If necessary, changes and updates will be posted here.
Update: We have moved the start time 15 minutes earlier to allow for things to be shut down ahead of the power loss.
Planned maintenance: 19 October 2026, between 18:00 – 22:00 CEST (?) [completed] – The CATMA application as well as the GitLab backend will be unavailable while we are applying some updates. With the start of this maintenance window we are also retiring our Mattermost Chat, which will no longer be available. We are considering an alternative and will communicate further details soon. In the meantime, you can reach us via our support address or on social media. Please also note the following event the next day.
Update, 21:35 CEST: GitLab updates are taking longer than expected. The new expected end time is 23:00 CEST (+ 1 hour).
